Continuing Education

BHL Hospital Click to view/print Educational Development Catalog!

Attention Baptist Health Lexington Employees

You must have your Confirmation Letter for admittance to ACLS, PALS, BLS/CPR classes (no exceptions), and other programs/classes as noted.  If lost or inadvertently deleted, check with your director or call to schedule time to obtain another Confirmation Letter from the Educational Development Department 2 days prior to first day of program/class (see Registrations.)

RNs/LPNs must provide nursing license at time of registration for any Continuing Education (CE) class/program. Your license numbers are not 'on file' with the Educational Development Department nor will we accept your Social Security or employee ID number. Certificate(s) will not be issued if license number is not provided on the sign-in roster.

An individual who misses 15 minutes at any time of any CE program may stay and audit the presentation but will not receive contact hours or certificate.

If you do not have your nursing license on day of program you will not receive your certificate of completion. Call 6405/0 to schedule a time so you may add your license number to the roster in the Education Department (please have actual title for the program). At that time you will be given your certificate.

ACLS, PALS, BLS/CPR, TNCC, and ENPC classes have a limited number of available openings for those individuals in which these classes are not a CBH job-specific requirement.
