Continuing Medical Education



Baptist Health Lexington is accredited by the Kentucky Medical Association to sponsor continuing medical education for physicians.

Regularly Scheduled Programs

All regularly-scheduled programs are designated for one (1) Category 1 CME credit hour unless otherwise indicated.

General Staff Meeting
CME on various general topics is usually offered at three of the four meetings each year (March, June and December).

Tumor Board
Offered Friday mornings at 7:00 a.m. in the auditorium, tumor board meetings include presentation of case studies and discussion of care.

Infectious Disease Conference
Held the first Wednesday of each month at 12:00 noon in the auditorium, the infectious disease conference includes case studies and discussion of care. Pre-registration is required. Please call 277-4005.

Pediatrics Conference
The pediatrics conference is held on the third Wednesday of every other month (February, April, June, August, October and December) at 7:00 a.m. in cafeteria room E/F prior to the pediatrics department meeting. Presentations are given on current pediatric topics of interest or need.

OB/GYN Grand Rounds Conference
Various OB/GYN topics of interest and need. Meets Wednesday mornings, 7:30 a.m. in alternating sites.

Combined Grand Rounds on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of each month are alternated between UK and CBH.

  • 1st Wednesday - held at UK
  • 3rd Wednesday - held at CBH auditorium
  • 2nd and 4th Wednesdays - case presentations on various topics - CBH 2nd floor conference room

No OB/GYN conferences on 5th Wednesdays
