About the Center
Located on the hospital's first floor, the Radiation Oncology Center offers plenty of nearby parking and a separate entrance for the convenience of patients and families. The department is equipped with a linear accelerator for external radiation therapy which is equipped for image guided radiation therapy (IGRT) when requested by a radiation oncologist, a CT scanner, and three-dimensional and IMRT treatment planning computers. A high dose rate (HDR) unit is available to provide internal radiation therapy when needed. You may contact the Radiation Oncology Center at 859-260-6460.
A CyberKnife stereotactic radiosurgery machine provides specialized treatment to some types of brain, spine, lung, and abdominal and pelvic tumors. For more information regarding CyberKnife technology, contact us at 859-260-4460 or 1-877-632-9237.
