Heart and Valve Center

The Central Baptist Heart and Valve Program is the only one of its kind in Kentucky dedicated to the diagnosis and treatment of valvular heart disease and complex valve disorders.  Cardiac physicians and surgeons at Central Baptist offer the latest in diagnosis and treatment options. All of this care is coordinated by our Cardiothoracic Nurse Navigator, who follows the patient throughout the continuum of care and serves as a link between physicians, patients and their families.

We have been recognized by the Society of Thoracic Surgeons as having a 3 star rating, denoting the highest category of quality for cardiac surgery performance in a comparative quality assessment between hospitals across the country. Only 13 percent of hospitals within the U.S. receive this distinguished rating.

Medical technology and techniques are constantly evolving, particularly in terms of diagnosis and treatment for cardiovascular heart and valve disorders.  Our team of physicians and surgeons perform the latest in leading-edge diagnosis and treatment options.
